We never laughed at him for not eating meat (if anything, I respect James Morrison). We laughed at the Vegan philosophy of not using animal products and yet, actors use them for their jobs. There is a difference between a vegetarian and a vegan you see. I don't have much of a problem with vegetarians (although I still do, and I have blogged about it in the past), but vegans are pretty laughable in my opinion. Avoiding your own nature and needs in life is stupid. Humans are resource extractors, this is our nature. Yes, we could always be more careful with animals and nature, and take measures to not torture animals, but ultimately, that's what we are. We need things to make other things around us work. And many of these things, come from animals. Deal with it.

Haha lets laugh at someone because they choose not to eat meat...

Is that really funny?

If you choose to do anything it is pretty hard to do it totally in our world. Is buying 'fair trade' pointless because you will end up buying something that isn't?

Give the guy a break?

I didn't know that.

But Roger Clemens didn't know what a vegan was, so I don't feel that bad.

Wouldn't some sort of plastic work as well? Really, gelatin? Doesn't that dissolve in water?
