Vote Obama

As I wrote elsewhere, my first option (if I could vote in the USA) would be Alaska’s Mike Gravel. He is all for real changes in the political system rather than just fixing what Bush messed up. But Gravel would never get elected. He’s too revolutionary, and without money.

Between Clinton and Obama, there is not a whole lot of difference in terms of policy for the important issues. However, Obama inspires me, while when I see Clinton I see a mule-minded bitch — much like of what I see in the mirror. A president should be open to more opinions than just his, so I think Obama is a better candidate in this regard.

Download and playback the video that Stanford’s professor and Creative Commons’s director Larry Lessig put together. Pretty interesting points on Clinton’s integrity and vision compared to Obama’s.

Once that the candidates who could really make a difference (Gravel, Kucinich) are out, I don’t think it’s so important who wins between Clinton and Obama. What it is really important is that whoever wins, then can win the U.S. elections.

So if I were American, I would simply vote for the one that I thought would have more chances against McCain. And who is that? No idea. I should be American to know which of both can attract the voters who are not clearly democratic or republican. One one hand, Clinton would look like a safe, reliable option to them, while Obama might look risky. On the other hand, Obama might inspire higher hopes while Clinton won’t change much the Status Quo. But who knows what the undecided voters prefer, safety or hope?

Why Obama? Sure he’s better than Clinton, but there are more than just Democrats vs McCain in the election. Everyone running for office has been wiping their ass with the constitution since day one, except for one — Ron Paul. For real change, for real freedom, vote Ron Paul. Clinton has been quoted as saying that she is not opposed to garnishing peoples wages just so that EVERYBODY PAYS for health care, not so that everyone _gets_ health care. So even if you’re on someone else’s health plan, she would still find a way for YOU to pay as well.

Obama and Ron Paul are the only bets for a future, and Ron Paul is the only choice for true freedom.

Ron Paul appeals to free market romantics, but that doesn’t change the fact that most sensible people consider him a free market fruitcake.

Michael Moore favors Obama.. End of story, the man is genius, and I love him because he’s also a great filmmaker. He’s funny and smart. Yes, he’s a fat loud mouth, but he is who he is and is happy with himself.

You seriously think Michael Moore is a genius and a great filmmaker? Have you seen Sicko? Half of what he said is a blatant lie!

And Ron Paul isn’t just a free market advocate, he’s a small government advocate. The government has gotten way too big, way too entrenched in everybody’s life, and the other candidates just want to make it bigger. Why do they think the government can spend our money better than we can? Churches proved a century ago that they’re better at running charities than governments, yet the government insists on taking that duty into its own hands with social security, medicare, and other welfare programs that are doing nothing but costing tax payers money. Retirement plans and disability insurance should be used for those things instead, and most workers already pay into those! Why are we forced to pay these things twice? That’s what Ron Paul wants to fix — get rid of the stupid government operations, and put the control back where it belongs — in my hands and yours. The others–Obama, Clinton, and McCain–want to make the government as controlling as possible, tax us to death, so we’re all living at the poverty line, neck deep in debt, both the people and the government.
