Shame, I prefer the original.

I love TNG. I’ve blogged here why I prefer it exactly.

By chance I just watched ¨Transfigurations¨ tonight on the BBC …

I find the original Trek cast more charismatic. My ideal Trek would be a cross between the cast of the original (as they were in their younger days) and the special effects, writers, etc. of TNG.

Here’s a recent interesting article on the “rebooting” of Trek. At first I was against a re-imagination of Star Trek, but I think ultimately it makes sense.

For the newer shows, I liked TNG and DS9 a lot. Voyager had good episodes, but also a lot of shitty episodes.

For me, it’s a tie between TOS & TNG, with Voyager third but at considerable distance… DS9 never did it for me, Enterprise is meh…

Besides such polls are questionable NOTHING beats the original 60ies series, it’s just ace.
