By chance I just watched ¨Transfigurations¨ tonight on the BBC …
I find the original Trek cast more charismatic. My ideal Trek would be a cross between the cast of the original (as they were in their younger days) and the special effects, writers, etc. of TNG.
Here’s a recent interesting article on the “rebooting” of Trek. At first I was against a re-imagination of Star Trek, but I think ultimately it makes sense.

Shame, I prefer the original.
I love TNG. I’ve blogged here why I prefer it exactly.

Besides such polls are questionable NOTHING beats the original 60ies series, it’s just ace.
