Well, [personally] I don’t. I mean, I don’t mind that there’s a camera on it, since the two times per year I use it, it’s nice to have. Otherwise, even today, a phone with a nice calendar app and good sms handling is still the most important feature [for me] [ ] and they still neglect those features more than they should.

Secondly, why the hell should I say “personally”? Of course and it is “personally”. This IS my personal blog after all and all of these are my opinions. If I am to add the word “personally” in here every time I write something, it would be filling up the database.

And finally, most modern users do want videos and cameras and other shit on their phones. So it’s not just me.

Also, your blog deals in absolutes when it comes to gadget features, which quite frankly seems childish. Maybe YOU need a phone that takes videos, runs J2ME apps, etc, but other people may have *different requirements*. That would be fine if you prefaced everything with “Personally…” but you don’t. Instead you say stuff like “This is what is preventing this phone/camera/video sw/etc from being good”, which for me 75% of the time is something I (and I am sure others) could care less about.

Anyway, it is your blog, but you almost never stop to consider your requirements are usually esoteric for devices. You continue to act as though the people who put the devices out are so stupid for such obvious omissions.

This is not true. The hacking “SDK” is just a small guidance thing, it does not have proper documentation or full hooks to the system.

I *love* this piece of equipment. If my gut is right, you will probably get hung up on some relatively small sniggles and rate it a 7/10. But go in open-minded, this thing is really cool!
