Ralf, you are talking about “cheap renderings of Serenity” and yet the interior of Serenity was not rendered, it was the real thing, built the old fashioned way. Only the exterior was rendered. But it is not the exterior we love about Serenity, but the interior. And the Falcon is a big fat zero inside.

Serenity would be the ultimate gadget to own if we had enough money to buy it off Hollywood.

Do you incorporate in your adjudgement about the Millenium Falcon scenes in Star Wars that they are all from the mid ‘70 to early ‘80?
There was not very much of Maya, Cinema 4D or Lightwave back in these days.
And besides this - at least the Episode IV scenes where shot with a lower budget than an average Scifi TV series is shot with today.
From this point of view I have to give the whole credit to the Falcon.
Way better than the cheap rendering of the Serenity.

Serenity is way cooler. Its got all the fun hidden compartments and has that same “ugly but cool” factor as the Falcon, but we got 14 episodes and a movie from Serenity. More time for us to bond.

I totally agree, that non-stop shot is so cool.
