You know you married the right person when your spouse decides to refresh his web site by writing in just a few short hours a big C program that generates the actual HTML files. ![]()

Well, uh, it took me more than “a few hours”. I’d say that I probably put in between one and two days worth of programming in that blob of code.
Part of that is that when you have a hammer (e.g. the C language) everything looks like a nail.
Part of that is also that I explicitly picked C knowing that it was not the best choice, because I wasn’t in the mood for learning enough PHP and SQL again. At least when writing C I don’t have to worry about any kind of programming hurdles.
Isn’t blogger remote written in something like C - or is it Python? I know it just generates static HTML.
